Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Jan 5: Dr Devansh Yadav, Commissioner (Comm), Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), today conducted a surprise inspection in Ward number 25, Rehari Colony, Jammu. The JMC Commissioner emphasized the need for public cooperation to achieve the goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission and maintain proper hygiene in the city. He also instructed the JMC’s Health and Sanitation wing to use an App to track the attendance of sanitation workers, ensuring punctuality and efficiency in service delivery.



Dr Yadav warned that any lapses in maintaining sanitation would not be tolerated and stressed regular cleaning of lanes and drains to prevent waste accumulation. He also highlighted the importance of improving Jammu City’s ranking in the Swachh Sarvekshan survey..
