Jimmies golf teams have success at UJ Fall Invite

The Jimmies lowest scoring women's golfer was Isabella Crafford at +9.

JAMESTOWN — The University of Jamestown golf teams came home to host the UJ Fall Classic between Sunday, Sept. 15 and Monday, Sept. 16, at the Jamestown Country Club.

The Jimmies had four total teams participating in the event with the men’s team finishing in second and fourth. The two Jimmies women’s teams finished in first and fifth. The Jimmies highest finishing men’s golfer was Max Noffsinger who finished in first with a total to par score of one-over-par and a total score of 145.



He finished just ahead of teammate Gehrig Geiss who finished in a tie for third at seven-over-par, 151. The highest finishing Jimmies women’s golfer was Isabella Crafford who won the event at nine-over-par with a total score of 153. The Jimmies women’s team’s second-highest finisher was Celi Nelson who finished in sixth at 19-over-par, 163.
