The Los Angeles Chargers are off to a 2-0 start in Jim Harbaugh's first season as head coach, following wins over the Las Vegas Raiders and Carolina Panthers. L.A.

has thrived early on thanks to its potent rushing attack, led by J.K. Dobbins' 266 rushing yards and two touchdowns through two games.

Contrastingly, no Chargers wide receiver has topped 51 yards in a game entering Week 3. In response, Bleacher Report has suggested Harbaugh and company trade for a veteran addition to its wide receiver corps "now." Specifically, Houston Texans wideout Robert Woods, who is buried on a star-studded depth chart featuring Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins and Tank Dell.

"Jim Harbaugh's teams are always going to find their identity in running the ball. ..

. But, at some point, you have to give your quarterback some help," B/R's Alex Ballantine wrote on September 16. Jayne Kamin-Oncea-Imagn Images Woods, 32, has not yet seen a target and has played only 15% of the Texans' offensive snaps (21 plays) in 2024.

The 12th-year veteran and former Super Bowl champion has racked up 8,030 career receiving yards and 38 touchdowns, including back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with the Los Angeles Rams in 2018 and 2019. "The Chargers are looking for a lot of young players to step up, and the position got even thinner with DJ Chark going on the injured reserve," Ballentine added. "It would be wise to get ahead of any more depth issues by trading for a veteran.
