I also tendered my resignation to him. Congress and the RJD in charge were also present here.
On 28 November the oath ceremony will take place," he said. He also announced that he would continue as a caretaker chief minister until the swearing in on November 28. Hemant Soren's JMM-led alliance secured a decisive victory in Jharkhand, clinching 56 out of 81 seats in the assembly and earning a second consecutive term in power.
This win defied few exit polls, which had predicted a BJP-led NDA triumph. The alliance, consisting of the JMM, Congress, RJD, and Left parties, outperformed the BJP, which managed only 21 seats alongside three seats from its allies. With the majority mark set at 41, this marks the first instance of an incumbent government being re-elected in Jharkhand since the state was established on November 15, 2000.
Soren is set to take the oath as Jharkhand's 14th chief minister..
