Loot took place once again in a housing society in Pahal area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar of Odisha. This time the series loot has taken place from 4 duplexes in the City Home Housing Society under Pahal Police Station limits. As per reports, the looters entered the City Home Housing society looted from four duplexes taking the opportunity of absence of the house owners in these houses.

The looters broke into Duplex No. D-2, D-13, D-20 and D-48 and looted gold and diamond jewelry worth about Rs 40 lakh. After knowing about the loot, policemen from Pahal Police Station visitied the spot and initiated investigation.

However, till this report was written, no arrest had been made. It has been learnt that Police are carrying out probe based on the CCTV footage. It is to be noted that earlier also a few cases of such loots have been reported earlier in which looters took away lakhs of property.

Last time theft had been taken place in the Sunrise Sarovar Apartment under Pahal Police limits..
