The New York Jets are no longer winless in 2024 after they defeated the Tennessee Titans, 24-17. Despite being inconsistent at times, the Jets defense was able to seal the win by forcing a turnover-on-downs for the Titans offense in the redzone in the game's final 30 seconds. The defense finished the game allowing 300 total yards and forcing two turnovers, a vast improvement from the Jets' Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished the day with 176 passing yards, two touchdowns and no turnovers. He was able to find his favorite receiver, Garrett Wilson, four times for 57 receiving yards.

While New York was able to secure the win, they only finished the game with 265 total offensive yards, a number they're surely looking to improve on in later weeks. Despite the win, the Jets did not leave Tennessee unscathed, especially on defense. Linebackers CJ Mosley and Jermaine Johnson were both carted off the field during the game and did not return.

While the severity of the injuries is currently unknown, Johnson's injury seemed to be serious based on the reactions by the team as he was being carted off.
