The first set was a close battle. Playing on the road, Adams Central outlasted the Bulldogs to pick up the 25-23 decision in set one.
New Haven stayed within reach during the opening set. Set two was a different story. Adams Central topped New Haven 25-16 to go up 2-0 in the match.
