It’s never too early to start thinking about summer at the Jersey Shore, with more than a dozen towns running special holiday beach badge sales just in time for the big shopping season. The badges are usually sold at a discount, typically ranging between $5 and $10 off the regular season price, and a number of towns have fun, hand-drawn Christmas-themed designs. Sale dates and ordering methods vary by town, so make sure to double check how to purchase before heading out.
Some towns end their holiday tag sales as early as Dec. 17, so don’t wait to order. Jersey Shore towns offering pre-season holiday badges: If you don’t see your favorite beach listed, badges aren’t on sale just yet.
Check back in the spring for full pricing breakdowns. Asbury Park Gift cards for beach badges at the 2024 pricing that can be redeemed later for 2025 badges are currently on sale through Dec. 21.
Adult badges are $70, senior and teen badges are $20. Avalon Holiday-themed seasonal beach badges are on sale online for $35 plus shipping. Avon-by-The-Sea Badges are for sale at regular season rate of $100 at the borough office through Dec.
23. Cash or check only. Barnegat Light Special holiday badges are for sale at borough office , and come in a gift box.
Badges purchased before Dec. 17 are $37. On Dec.
17, prices rise to $42. Regular, non-holiday pre-sale badges are $35. Beach Haven Holiday badges with a special design are on sale for $40, while supplies last .
They can be purchased in person, by mail, or online via credit card, but all badges must be picked up in person. Belmar 2025 badges are on sale, but not at a pre-season rate. Season badges are $80 and can be purchased online .
Bradley Beach Badges can be purchased in person or online for pick-up . The special holiday rate of $70 is in effect through Dec. 30.
Brigantine Holiday-themed badges can be purchased online for the pre-season rate of $22 plus shipping. Cape May Season tags are on-sale at the pre-season price of $30. They can be ordered through the mail, or purchased online for an additional fee.
Harvey Cedars Tags with a special holiday design are on sale for $35, and must be picked up in person. Limited quantities are available. Long Beach Township Holiday themed badges are on sale at the badge office shack for $40.
The shack is open until Dec. 31, or until sold out. Long Branch Discounted badges are on sale for $45 until Jan.
31. They can be purchased at city hall. Margate Holiday badges are on sale at the Martin Bloom Pavilion for the pre-season rate of $12.
Tags can also be ordered online for an additional fee. Ocean City Pre-season beach badges with a special design can be purchased in-person for $30, or online for an additional fee. Ocean Grove Special holiday-discount badges are on sale through Dec.
31. Badges can be purchased in person for $90. Sea Bright Pre-sale badges are on sale for $75 through Dec.
31. They can be purchased at the borough office . Sea Girt Special Christmas badges are on sale for $115 through Dec.
18. Badges ordered by Dec. 15 can be shipped for an additional $10, and a gift box can be added for $2.
Sea Isle City Holiday tags are currently on sale for $25 at city hall, or for $27 plus shipping online. Special St. Patrick’s Day tags also go on sale mid-February.
Seaside Heights Badges can be ordered online for pick-up at the beach control office for $57. Pick ups are open the two weekends before Christmas. Seaside Park Holiday badges are on sale for $60.
They can be picked up every weekend in December, or ordered online for an additional fee. Ship Bottom Holiday badges with a special design are on sale at borough hall for $42. Badges come in a gift box with a bow.
Stone Harbor Holiday beach tags are available for purchase at borough hall Monday through Friday while supplies last for $32. Tags can also be purchased online from Jersey Cape Tags with an added convenience fee. Surf City Special holiday badges are on sale for $40 at borough hall.
