Jeremy Clarkson shares why they chose Zimbabwe for the Grand Tour Finale

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the reason why he and his compadres Richard Hammond and James May chose Zimbabwe as the finale to the Grand Tour series. After thinking long and hard, they went to the end of the alphabet he said. But that was not all.

“There was another reason why we chose Zimbabwe, though,” he said. “We would drive across it from east to west, as usual, but then we could cross the border and finish up where we began all those years ago: the Makgadikgadi salt pans in Botswana.” The episode has garnered positive reviews for its portrayal of a country in need of good PR.
