Jeopardy! contestant Chris Burge disclosed on Jeopardy! tonight that he has Stage 4 colon cancer. The high school teacher from Farmers Branch, Texas, went up against Mikey McCullough, a librarian from Baltimore, Maryland; and two-day champion Paul Clauson, a tax analyst from Madison Heights, Michigan, on November 19 episode of the ABC trivia game . It was during the anecdote segment where the competitor shared about his battle with cancer and diagnosis.
Host Ken Jennings spearheaded the conversation when he said to Chris, "I understand you’re facing a health challenge right now that you wanted to talk about." He responded back to Ken, "Yeah, I’ve been fighting Stage IV colon cancer since May." Ken could replied to the Texas resident's admission with, "Oh wow.
