The global platform will feature enhanced editorial content, which trendsetting customers have highly praised as a major differentiator on Jente’s Korean page. The company teamed up with global fashion journalists to deliver in-depth storytelling about brands and products. Established in 2020, Jente has rapidly grown into one of Korea’s major online luxury shopping platforms.

Its unique corporate strategy involves having zero counterfeit goods and 100 percent direct sourcing from boutiques. Jente has focused on strengthening its overseas boutique network for its successful inroads into the untapped territories. It has established partnerships with more than 330 boutiques in more than 10 countries, such as Italy, France, Switzerland and Spain.

The company sources over 7,000 brands in Korea and around the world. The company launched pilot projects in Japan and China last year, helping it gain insights for the full-fledged expansion into the global market, the company said. It also partnered with major payment gateway providers worldwide to introduce a localized payment system for each market.

This is expected to help global customers to purchase Jente’s products conveniently without any additional costs. Jente also highlights products' various aspects, such as history, craftsmanship and sustainability, so it can provide customers with a richer cultural experience beyond mere purchasing, it said. “With our accumulated capabilities in boutique direct sourcing, curation and information technology, we are confident in establishing a strong presence in the global luxury market,” Jente CEO Jung Seung-tan said.

“Our goal is not only to deliver Jente’s unique value to customers worldwide but also to grow as a platform that leads the overseas expansion of Korean brands.”.
