Jennifer Lopez Revives The Revenge Dress With A Dramatic Cut-Out Gown

On the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival, she took a cue from and stepped out in her own version of a revenge dress. An equally striking combination of sequins and curves put all eyes on Lopez as she made her red carpet debut wearing a gown from Tamara Ralph’s Fall/Winter 2024 Couture collection. Covered in silver paillettes, the floor-length dress featured openings on both sides, fastened together by plush black velvet bows.



With the gown doing most of the talking – or at least, leaving viewer’s mouths agape – the singer accessorised sparingly, adding a pair of silver platform stilettos and a box clutch with a matching mirrored finish. Small diamond earrings and a simple diamond ring brought even more sparkle to her look. She wore her caramel-highlighted hair in a straightened blowout and sported a dewy glam with a smokey grey eyeshadow and glossy nude lip.

Lopez delivered more than just looks on the red carpet, too. The Toronto International Film Festival marked the premiere of her newest film, Unstoppable, for which Affleck has a producer credit. While he didn’t make an appearance, his longtime friend and fellow producer Matt Damon stepped in for him, even taking pictures with Lopez on the carpet.
