It’s going to be nice to beat him up. Really nice,” Silva told MMA Fighting. “I’m sure the UFC is looking at me like.

.. There’s a villain, ‘Poatan’ [Alex Pereira].

There was a loudmouth that backed it up, Conor [McGregor]. There was the king of the whole thing, [Jose] Aldo. There was the artist, Anderson Silva.

There was Wanderlei Silva, a badass.“There were plenty of people that had great accomplishments in the UFC that no one else did, but there wasn’t a guy that just scared everybody, you know? Someone that the UFC knows will be a problem when he fights because they will have to reconstruct faces. They will have to pick up the pieces after the fight to get them back in place.

I’m showing everybody I will disfigure everybody’s faces. I’ll hurt them. I’m that guy, you know? People that fight me don’t fear the fight, they fear how they’ll look after the fight.

”Baghdasaryan is 8-2 as a professional fighter going into UFC Seattle, but Silva disputes that.“He’s already 8-3 the moment he signed the contract,” Silva said. “He already lost to me, but he hasn’t seen that yet.

On the 22nd, he’ll walk in there and realize the No. 3 was already there. He’s good, he’s very experienced in kickboxing, so I see it as an easy fight.

Not saying like it’s going to be easy to go there and beat the guy. Not like that. But my level in MMA is different.

My game is more balanced than his. There are no emotions in Lord’s game. The difference is that if Lord can hurt you, he will hurt you bad.

It’s not nice to be hurt by the Lord.”“I think that every fight is a bigger message to the division,” he continued. “I’ll send another message to the division.

Calm down, better days will come for some, and worst days will come for others. Sadly, the 22nd will be a bad day for Melsik. I have no idea why he agreed to this fight.

I don’t know how the negotiation was with the UFC, but I don’t think he had many options.”Silva missed weight prior to his win over Charles Jourdain in June 2024, which is why he competed at lightweight months later. Back to his original weight class and with weight on point for UFC Seattle, Silva is open to other trips to lightweight in the future for fun matchups like Rafael Fiziev, but his focus is on the task ahead for now.

“In my own weight class I’ll beat everybody up, sorry,” Silva said. “I know many people out there are waiting for the day Jean stumbles so they can say, ‘He wasn’t all that,’ but I’m sorry to inform you all that I’m not the one that fights, there’s someone else in there, and it’s going to be hard to beat. I can only lose to myself.

”Silva is not the type of fighter to call out names after wins but knows it’s how the game is played in the UFC. That said, he’d much rather stay active and drop bodies on the ground to checks and wins.“If I’m looking for someone to disfigure, someone I think deserves a beatdown to calm down, it would probably be Bryce Mitchell,” Silva said.

“I think everybody wants to see that. People are tweeting that, ‘Put him against Jean.’ But I don’t like to ask.

I’ll beat some people and everybody else won’t want to fight me. It’s like a long line for a job opportunity that nobody wants. People start to leave the line but eventually someone won’t be able to leave.

“I don’t have a name. In my weight class, if I had to pick a good name to fight, thinking about the ranking, it would definitely be Josh Emmett. I think he’s awesome.

That said, brother, [bring] anyone. It can be a UFC newcomer, someone who just fought at the Contender [Series]. Put me to fight on the Contender.

I just want to beat people up and get paid. That’s it.”.
