Jean E. Litzenberger OBITUARY Jean E. Litzenberger, 97, of Schnecksville and Allentown, passed away on April 12, 2025 in Parkland Manor, South Whitehall Twp.

She was the wife of the late Carson W. Litzenberger. Jean was a salesclerk at the former Hess’s Department Store until retiring in 1990.



Prior to that she was a machine operator at the former Ludlow Manufacturing Co. in Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William B.

and Helen I. (Rothenberger) Cole. She was a member of St.

John’s U.C.C.

, Fullerton. She was a member of the former Dubbs Memorial U.C.

C., Allentown. At Dubbs, she assisted with the Brownie Troop and was a choir mother.

Survivors: Daughters: Nancy J. wife of Robert Dougherty of Schnecksville and Sherry A. wife of Michael Schulze of Allentown, Son-In-Law: Matthew Rice of Allentown, Brother: Albert Cole and his wife Alberta of Allentown, Step-Brothers: Charles Cole of Macungie, Raymond Cole and his wife Judy of Allentown, Richard Cole and his wife Kathy of Walnutport and Donald Cole, 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a Daughter: Donna S. Rice, a Brother: Thomas Cole and a Sister: Geraldine Ward. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 10:30 A.
