Nigerian rising star and CEO of Jaytech Group of Companies, Amb Christopher Ogar, also known as Jaymoni, collaborates with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council to support and promote the Nigerian music and entertainment industry. During his visit to the NUJ FCT Council in Abuja on Thursday, Jaymoni was warmly welcomed by the council’s chairman, Comrade Grace Ike, and the council’s secretary, Comrade Jide Oyekunle. The popular artist, known for his hit song “Congratulations,” took the opportunity to congratulate Comrade Ike on becoming the first female chairperson of the NUJ FCT Council in its 41 years of existence.

His visit aimed to connect with the media and explore ways to collaborate in supporting artists nationwide. Jaymoni, who co-owns the Wayward brand, shared some exciting news with the council. His second song of the year, “Where The Money Dey (WTMD),” will be released on all streaming platforms on Friday, April 11, 2025.

His Feed The Street Programme is also scheduled in Lagos on the same day. Comrade Grace Ike expressed her admiration for Jaymoni’s music, community-focused efforts, and entrepreneurial drive. She was enthusiastic about the partnership and noted many ways the NUJ FCT could collaborate with the artist.

“I’m thrilled to see such a talented young artist like you. We can do a lot together because we share a common energy. Music is life, and journalists understand the importance of platforms like yours.

I believe you’re on the right path, and I want to encourage you to keep up the great work,” said Ike. She also added, “You’re humble, and that’s important. Popularity can sometimes cause people to lose focus, but I see someone who is determined to change the narrative in you.

Your music and efforts to give back to society are truly inspiring, and we at NUJ FCT are excited to partner with you in any way we can.” Comrade Ike further highlighted the importance of collaboration and suggested future joint ventures, saying, “Let’s continue to find ways to work together, and if there’s anything we can do to support you or any initiatives you have, don’t hesitate to reach out.” The partnership between Jaymoni and the NUJ FCT looks set to bring exciting opportunities for the entertainment industry and the media community.
