Daniels was deemed questionable to return to the game and replaced by Marcus Mariota. Fortunately, he appears to be doing well after initial tests on his injured rib, with a positive update from his mom on Twitter. "He's fine," she wrote.
Daniels' return to the game is uncertain, but the Commanders should not risk risking him if he is healthy. With the Commanders up 20-0 against the Panthers, Mariota should lead them to victory. Daniels has been a significant player for the Commanders in the first six games, completing 2-of-2 passes for seven yards and adding 50 yards on the ground.
