India National Cricket Team received a poor start after they were asked to bat first by the Bangladesh National Cricket Team in the 2nd T20I. India's top order crumbled but Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh took charge of the innings. Nitish scored 74 runs off just 34 deliveries and Rinku on the other hand scored 53 runs off just 29 balls.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh received praise from BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) secretary Jay Shah for their efforts. Jay Shah while praising wrote, "Loved watching young Nitish Kumar Reddy's fireworks with the bat, and Rinku Singh is proving to be a brilliant finisher for Team India. Well done, boys! Let's carry this momentum forward and aim for another series whitewash.
