Janet Keyes: Be fair on sign stealing complaints

I was disappointed to see a letter in the Oct. 23 edition of the the Recorder complaining about stolen political signs [“You can take my sign, but not my vote,: Oct. 23].

In the interest of fairness, you should ask the Greenfield police about such complaints. I was talking with a lady on the Republican Town Committee recently, and she told me they had received several complaints about stolen Trump signs when they were first seen in Greenfield. She had reported this to the Greenfield Police Department.



Unfortunately there are pranksters and jerks out there from both sides of the political world. Let’s be fair in the condemnation. Janet Keyes Greenfield.
