Harry Styles once left Jamie Oliver's home "very quickly" after spotting something in his daughter's bedroom while he was on a house viewing. The TV chef was attempting to sell his £15million house at the time and welcomed the famed One Direction singer for a viewing, although he also admitted that he was "not mates" with Styles. He suggested that something in his home may have put the singer off, with Styles allegedly exclaiming "Argh!" when he took a look inside one of his daughter's rooms, reports the Daily Mail.

Jamie said: "I'm not mates with Harry Styles, but I have met him a couple of times. One time was when I had put my house up for sale and he came for an inspection. "He didn't know that my daughter had a life-sized [cardboard] cut-out of him in her bedroom.

He just sort of looked at it, turned around and said, "Argh!" and left the house very quickly." He was then asked if the much-loved singer eventually bought the house, to which Jamie replied: "No he didn't." The publication went on to reveal that Jamie, who has three daughters and two sons, wouldn't divulge which of his daughter's rooms had the cut-out.

It also said his home eventually went to the estate of the late Paul Raymond, a pornography publisher and strip club owner who was known for walking around Soho in fur coats. Jamie, who is best known for his series 'The Naked Chef', recently hit headlines after his latest book, 'Billy and the Epic Escape', faced accusations of perpetuating stereotypes. The chef apologised to First Nations Australians after the kids' book was accused of "stereotyping and trivialising", with Jamie said to have been “devastated”, reports The Guardian.

Last month, Styles took to Instagram to share his feelings following the tragic death of fellow One Direction star Liam Payne, who passed away in October after falling from a hotel balcony. "I am truly devastated by Liam's passing," he wrote. "His greatest joy was making other people happy, and it was an honour to be alongside him as he did it.
