Jamie Foxx received stitches after reportedly being hit in the face with a glass during his birthday celebration at Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills on Friday night. The incident occurred around 10 p.
m. when individuals at another table allegedly became disruptive toward Foxx and his family. "Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth," Foxx's spokesperson told TMZ .

The police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement's hands." According to witnesses, Foxx had asked the group to stop their allegedly rude behavior, citing the presence of his family members.
Foxx was dining with his daughters, Corinne and Anelise Foxx, and former partner Kristin Grannis when the alleged altercation occurred. Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed they responded to reports of a fight at the high-end restaurant, but Foxx had already left the scene when officers arrived. Police have taken an assault report and listed Foxx as an involved party.
