When Week 13 of the college football season kicked off, fans certainly didn't expect the amount of carnage that has transpired over the past 10 hours. Five ranked teams have already lost on Saturday and several more are in danger of adding to that total. One of the teams in serious danger tonight is the Alabama Crimson Tide, who fell behind 24-3 against the Oklahoma Sooners after a second-interception from quarterback Jalen Milroe was returned for a touchdown.
What Milroe did after the interception had the college football world talking. Will McLelland-Imagn Images The star quarterback appeared to attempt a slide tackle like he was going for a ball in a soccer game. Fans immediately called out the Crimson Tide star for attempting to trip the opposing player.
"RED CARD FOR MILROE ON THE TRIP ATTEMPT TO STOP THE OU OICK SIX," college football account Sickos Committee said. RED CARD FOR MILROE ON THE TRIP ATTEMPT TO STOP THE OU OICK SIX. pic.

"So milroe throw a pick and instead of tackling him he tries to trip em? bruh I can’t watch this game no more," added another. "So @espn coverage not even going to mention that Milroe threw the pick and then stuck his leg out and tried to trip the corner instead of tackling him? Seems noteworthy," offered a third. Milroe has struggled all night long, completing just 6-of-16 passing for 97 yards and two interceptions as the game heads into the fourth quarter.
Unless he and the Tide complete an epic comeback, their College Football Playoff hopes will be dashed. Related: Taylor Swift Blamed for Deion Sanders, Colorado Blowout Loss on Saturday.
