Jake Shane is adding musician to his growing portfolio as he announced a new album on social media. The Therapuss podcast host took to Instagram to share the news of his first comedy album on Monday, November 18. In the post, there is carousel of two photos which what seems to be the album cover and the tracklist.
The first photo is a series of polaroids forming Jake with his face and a mismatch construction of his body. The second photo with the tracklist is a another series of polaroid pictures that make up Alexander Glantz known as Alexander 23 and Jake holding a fan that's blowing in his face. Singer-songwriter Alexander co-wrote and produced the album with the internet star.

Within the the 13-track album, Jake has collaborated with some of his famous friends such as Tate McRae, Jack Schlossberg, Snooki, Julia Mervis, Joe Jonas, and Alexander 23. The tracks are Intro (feat.
Tate McRae), Sugarfish, Things I Hate, Denim On Denim Skit (feat. Jack Schlossberg), Denim On Denim, Pharmacist Skit (feat. Julia Mervis), Pharmacist, The Hangover Song (feat.
Snooki), The Hangover Skit (feat. Joe Jonas), Postmates, JetBlue Skit, JetBlue and Therapuss Theme Song (feat. Alexander 23).
The 25-year-old's upcoming album will offer fans a look into Jake's world with stories from his life as a notable internet personality and influencer. He combines his humor and storytelling with a electronic and pop sound but also dabbled in other genres as well throughout the album. Although the album drops November 22, the album can be pre-saved beforehand.
Jake spoke to Rolling Stone about the album and how it came to be. "We came up with the idea on a Therapuss episode. [Alexander 23] came on the show and we were just joking about it.
But then I came in the studio and recorded a poem, and then from there I just kept on coming back," he told the outlet. "This word gets overused, but Jake is a genius," Alexander 23 gushed about Jake to the outlet as well, while discussing their experience making the album. "We had the time of our lives making this album and I think that really comes out in the music.
