YouTuber Jake Paul has revealed why he agreed to Mike Tyson's rules ahead of their £30million boxing match on Saturday. Paul, who's 31 years younger than boxing legend 'Iron Mike', will take on the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in a professional eight-round fight. Each round will last two minutes and although knockouts will be allowed, both fighters will be required to wear 14-ounce gloves to reduce the risk of long-term damage.

Each fighter is expected to earn £15million from the bout which will take place at the 80,000-seater AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the home of NFL giants the Dallas Cowboys . Paul, 27, has only suffered one defeat - to Tommy Fury last year - in his 11 fights as a boxer, having made his name in the online world. But the Ohio native is keen to make a statement against Tyson, despite compromising when it comes to the fight's rules.

Appearing on Suga Sean O'Malley's YouTube channel, Paul was asked if Tyson had requested the two-minute rounds and 14-ounce gloves. Mike Tyson will face Jake Paul in the ring on November 15. The fight will air exclusively on Netflix, which is available for free with Sky's latest TV deal.

Shoppers can get the Sky Stream bundle for £26 a month – or £29 on a monthly rolling plan – which comes with Netflix subscription at no extra cost "Yeah, that was always what he wanted from day one and I just wanted to agree to his rules, [to get it done]" he replied. "That's mostly how I am with these fights, like, 'what makes sense? Let's make it a fair fight and move on and just make it happen'." Paul's comments come after the pair's original fight in July was postponed.

Tyson, who's now 58, suffered an ulcer flare-up during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles earlier this year and has revealed the extent of his health scare. "I asked the doctor, 'Am I going to die?'" he told New York Magazine . "I lost 25 pounds in 11 days.

Couldn't eat. Only liquids. Every time I went to the bathroom, it smelled like tar.

I could have fought him that day. Now I got to start from scratch. I had, like, eight blood transfusions.

The doctor said I lost half my blood. I almost died." As a result of Tyson's comments, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation have confirmed that he'll face a series of pre-fight tests.

TLDR representative Tela Mange said via World Boxing News : "Thorough pre-fight physicals will be conducted by TDLR-appointed physicians, who will discuss Mr Tyson's medical history with him. Before the event, TDLR will conduct pre-fight physicals to ensure the health of both fighters." Tyson has previously teased the prospect of a rematch.

Speaking on Impaulsive , hosted by Jake's brother, Logan, he explained: "Two men are gonna fight, someone's gonna win, they may fight again, and then they go to their separate banks and life goes on.".
