Jake Paul has suggested that Artur Beterbiev's callout is an indication that he "runs" the sport of boxing , following his Friday victory over Mike Tyson . The 27-year-old Paul triumphed over the 58-year-old former world heavyweight champion Tyson in a unanimous decision in Texas. Despite some spectators being unimpressed by the match - with some even leaving the AT&T Stadium before the result was announced - there has been significant chatter in the aftermath.

"@jakepaul what can you do in ring against the current undisputed champion?" Beterbiev posted on Instagram. "Just know that I'm always open to any suggestions." Jake Paul names 'hardest puncher' he has ever faced as Mike Tyson snubbed Jake Paul apologizes for one thing during Mike Tyson fight after securing points victory Russian-born fighter Beterbiev, 39, currently holds the undisputed light-heavyweight world champion title, thanks to his points victory over Dmitry Bivol in October.

He boasts a 21-0 career record, and Paul certainly took note of the call-out. "Just seen this..

. top 5 pound for pound fighter in the world calling me out. Hahahahahaha.

4 years in and I run this sport," Paul responded on social media. However, those replying to Paul didn't seem to concur. "You don't run the sport, everyone is sick of you fighting senior citizens.

The one time you fought someone near your age, you lost," one person wrote, referring to the YouTuber-turned-boxer's 2023 defeat against Tommy Fury. "Be careful against actual boxers though. Maybe stick with gimmick fights," another advised.

"You'll wait till he's 45 though so nobody's bothered," another commenter predicted. "I'm sorry I didn't knock him out," Paul said after his victory over Tyson. "After I'd seen him tired I didn't want to put too much hurt on him, but I wanted the fans to get a good experience.

But there was a point where my aggression and violence went away when I wasn't getting hit. I love Mike." He added: "This fight was just different.

I felt a lot less nerves than normal, I'm just getting so used to these moments. Fighting in a stadium, it is less personal and less loud so it is less nerve racking. Arenas are harder to fight in.

Walk out, I was cool, calm and collected. "First round I was gauging his speed, and I managed to get his time pretty quick, saw how I could tag him up and touch him. The rest was pretty much history, I just out boxed him and had fun.

" The victory brought Paul's professional record to 11-1, with Fury being the only one to best him. However, following his latest win, he was swift to challenge Canelo Alvarez. "He's going to want a payday and I want to show the world all the stuff I've been talking about beating Canelo is actually true and I'll have the biggest upset in the history of boxing," he said.

"We'll fight to really see who is the face because after this event, I'm going to be claiming it.".
