The Philadelphia Eagles will be hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday in an interconference matchup. The Eagles come in having won three straight games. After starting 0-4, the Jags are 2-2 in their last four.
Offensively, the Eagles are led by quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley. The latter is second in the league in rushing and is averaging better than 100 yards per game. Hurts has his full compliment of receivers back including A.
J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, while tight end Dallas Goedert is still listed as questionable on the injury report. USA Today And it's those receivers who seem to worry the Jags, who talked this week about trying to match Browns' physicality and Smith's speed.

With Barkley in the backfield against one of the league’s worst run defenses, the Eagles will run the ball early and often to setup play-action and open up the passing game. The Jaguars come in having scored 27 or more in three of their last four games, hoping to keep that going in Philly. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has thrown seven touchdowns and three interceptions in that same span.
Offensively, the Jags will need to rely on the passing game as their starting and backup running backs are questionable and were both limited in practice this week. The Eagles defense will be able to key on the passing game and try to force Lawrence into mistakes that could turn the odds in Philadelphia’s favor.
