To mark 50 years since the iconic Jaguar E-Type's production ended, the British carmaker has built two exclusive units of the roadster. Made by Jaguar Classic, these two examples of the iconic sports car will be called E-Type Commemorative, inspired by the final 50 units of the Commemorative Editions built during the final year of the E-Type's production. Both Jaguar E-Type models feature a convertible configuration.

While one is coloured in the classic Signet Green shade, the other features the timeless Opal Black paint scheme. Jaguar has ensured these cars are exclusive by adding a few 'special' features.

For instance, the centre console plack has been engraved with the blueprint of the classic models. The leather trim on the seats has been hand-woven and stitched. Deakin & Francis, the oldest surviving jeweller in England, has added various 'ornaments' inside the E-Types.

These include gold and silver trim inside the cabin, a silver-finished 'JAGUAR' script on the boot, and the Jaguar badge from Mother of Pearl and 18-karat gold. The new 2 E-Types benefit from being made in 2024. They get modern amenities such as an air conditioner, a heated windshield, and a Bluetooth radio.

In all these exclusivities, Jaguar hasn't forgotten about the E-Type's beating heart, its famous 3.8-litre inline six-cylinder engine. The Iconic motor makes a comeback but is now aided by modern technologies, such as fuel injection.

The engine hooks up to a five-speed manual gearbox. Get Latest News Live on Times Now along with Breaking News and Top Headlines from Car News, Auto and around the world..
