The 25-year-old full-back left Sky Bet League One side Lincoln City to sign a two-year contract with the Buddies before jetting out with the rest of the squad for a Spanish training camp.

Brown spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at the SMiSA Stadium – making eight appearances as the club finished fifth in the Premiership and qualified for the UEFA Conference League. Now he has rekindled his Paisley love affair and is intent on showing the black-and-white army what he is made of. “I’m buzzing to be back,” he told the club website.

“I loved my time on loan here at the club last season. I didn’t get as many games as I wanted to but it’s important to be in and around good people and it was a successful group, qualifying for Europe. “You want to play in the big games and play in the biggest competitions so it’s a great opportunity to showcase what I’m about.
