Jaat inches towards Rs 50 crore after 1st Monday

Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' has shown impressive box office performance, initially earning Rs 9.5 crore on its opening day. The film experienced significant growth over the weekend, particularly on Sunday, with collections reaching Rs 47.75 crore in India by Monday.

Sunny Deol is back with his signature massy avatar on screen which is leaving people whistling and clapping. That's the kind of euphoria which his film 'Gadar 2' had created. This is Sunny's next release after that film which broke several records.

Of course, while ' Jaat ' cannot be compared to the huge numbers that it made, this film is doing well in its own right and is holding up well at the box office. On Friday, 'Kesari Chapter 2' releases and if the reviews are good, then the Sunny Deol starrer may face competition from this Akshay Kumar movie which also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Panday.
