Sunny Deol promised an even entertaining sequel with Jaat 2, in a recently-released video on Instagram. The filming will begin in 2026. Days after the success of Jaat, Sunny Deol and the makers announced the film’s sequel.
Titled Jaat 2, director Gopichand Malineni claimed that the storyline will explore themes of action and emotional depth . The film’s lead star, Sunny, has now posted a video on Instagram where he promised fans that Jaat 2 will be even better. He further mentioned that he has taken a quick escapade into nature before heading for Border 2 shoot.
Sunny Deol was seen talking about Jaat 2 in a candid video posted by him on Instagram. Walking amid lush greenery on all sides, the actor addressed his fans on a video note. He said, “Aapne mujhe, mere Jaat ke liye dher saara pyaar diya.
Main vaada karta hoon ki Jaat 2 isse bhi achi hogi (You gave me so much love for my film Jaat . I promise that Jaat 2 will be even better)." He further mentioned that he often takes out time from his busy schedule and enjoys the stillness of nature before heading for demanding shoots.
The actor also added that after his quick outing, he will head out for Border 2 shoot. “Aapka pyaar hi hai meri taqat Aap sab ka josh hi hai meri safalta Keep loving #Jaat and I feel overwhelmed and blessed seeing all the videos of you all celebrating #Jaat and Cinema! In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Jaat director Gopichand Malineni spoke about the storyline of Jaat 2. “It’ll have more action, more emotion, and more entertainment than Jaat," he said, raising expectations for the sequel. But it’s not just about action and bravado this time.
Malineni also said that the film will explore a fresh narrative —Sunny Deol’s family life. “This time, we’ll also explore the family angle. We’ll show Sunny sir’s family, and I hope audiences find it engaging," he added.
