ITV fans are in for a treat this festive season as The Chase stars are back to compete in another Christmas special. Although the quiz show took a break in 2023, with a repeat aired instead, a brand new episode is on the way. This year, viewers will see the likes of actor Tony Maudsley, Olympic Champion Bryony Page, comedian Kerry Godliman and TV presenter Alexander Armstrong take on five of the Chasers.

Although fans are used to seeing the quizzers in their usual attire, with Paul Sinha in his white suit, Jenny Ryan's 60s inspired hair do and Darragh Ennis' velvet paisley print jacket and bolo tie, they'll look very different in the special. Baring almost all, Darragh takes on the character of Cavity Sam, the figure from the popular game Operation. Wearing nothing but light pink briefs with dark hearts on them, Darragh has cardboard objects dotted all over his body.

From an apple by his throat, a wrenched ankle and a broken heart, The Chase star completes the ensemble with a dark wig, a light-up red nose and a thermometer in hand. Shaun Wallace decided to take inspiration from one of his ITV colleagues and fellow Chase star Anne Hegerty. Taking on her wardrobe, a grey pencil skirt with a matching blazer and white blouse, Shaun has pulled out all the stops.

The quizzer can be seen in a full face of makeup with red lipstick and a short brown wig to mimic Anne's hair. Finishing off the look with pearl earrings, will Shaun channel his inner Governess during the show? Although Anne doesn't seem to appear in the line-up, Jenny Ryan is pulling out all the stops as she wows in a sequinned, off the shoulder ballgown. Dressed as Cluedo's Miss Scarlett, the Vixen has swapped her black glasses for red to match her ensemble.

Also taking inspiration from a classic board game is Paul Sinha, who has decided to dress as Mr. Monopoly. Looking dapper in a white dress shirt with a black suit and a top hat, the quizzer has also taken on the infamous moustache.

However, the ITV star has coloured his hair, eyebrows and fake moustache grey to mimic the character from the beloved game. Although Paul has decided to add a touch of vintage elegance, it seems as though Mark Labbett has taken a more humorous side. This year, the Chase star has dressed up as Hungry Hippos (Veggie Potamus).

Wearing a bright green onesie, the only part of Mark that is visible is his face, which he's decided to paint two large white teeth to his chin. It seems as though the theme for the Chase's Christmas special is characters from popular games/quizzes. Over the year's fans have seen the quizzers dress up as characters from The Addams Family and Alice in Wonderland.

The Chase Celebrity Special airs on Wednesday 25th December on ITV from 8pm..
