As the feud escalates, Kim finds herself compelled to make an irresistible offer, or so she hopes. "The Tates have always treated the Dingles like dirt. But scheming to steal an organ without their consent is a whole new level of animosity," an insider revealed to Digital Spy .
They continued, "New revelations about Joe's actions leave suspicious Caleb wanting revenge. Kim's had enough and decides to intervene, before the vendetta drags both families down!" The tension between Caleb and Joe worsens when the police visit the Miligans. Worried that the police want to investigate Anthony Fox's disappearance further, Caleb breathes a sigh of relief when the officers explain they're investigating a break-in at the depot.
Joe seizes the chance to provoke his adversary when he senses Caleb's discomfort with the police presence, leading to another heated confrontation on the ITV soap. It's only thanks to Cain's intervention that the pair don't end up brawling. Concerned about how much Joe is antagonising his brother, Cain heads to the more affluent part of the village to resolve the situation.
.. "Kim is surprised to find Cain waiting for her at Home Farm," the source disclosed.
"Clearly he hasn't popped in for a spot of high tea!". They added: "He admits his worries that Caleb and Joe's rivalry is getting out of hand, which could have dangerous consequences for both clans. Cain asks for Kim's help to shut this down before the situation gets worse.
Will she listen?". It appears Kim takes Cain's concerns to heart, as when Joe joins the conversation, she scolds her step-grandson for his recent behaviour. Kim and Cain don't mince words with a disgruntled Joe, warning him that if he doesn't change his ways, both he and Caleb might find themselves in jail.
Subsequently, Caleb and Ruby Fox-Miligan are called to Home Farm for peace talks with Kim, where they encounter Joe and Cain also in attendance, full of expectation. As Kim attempts to mediate between Caleb and Joe, their discussion quickly devolves into a heated dispute. "Kim and Cain start to wonder if it was a mistake getting these two in the same room," the insider reveals.
Acknowledging Caleb's sense of injustice, Kim offers him the land around his depot, which she owns, to expand his business. The question remains: will this gesture lead to peace? Caleb agrees to the deal and they seal it with a handshake, after which the Dingles depart from the Tate household. Once alone, Joe assures an irritated Kim he won't betray her trust again, while Kim smugly considers her agreement with Caleb as a means to keep tabs on their adversaries.
Far from resolving the family feuds, it seems Kim's actions may just be igniting a fresh wave of animosity.. Join the Daily Record's WhatsApp community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages.
