Comedians from Ithaca and Rochester will come to a Cayuga County winery for a night of stand-up this week. Treleaven Wines in King Ferry will host its last comedy show of the season at its outdoor venue, The Hangtime, at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 19. Admission is free and open to the public.

Headlining will be Kenneth McLaurin, of Ithaca, who has previously described his comedy as a "southern-fried outlook on life in upstate New York" to The Citizen. "Witty, clever, insightful and sometimes shocking, funny is always what you get with McLaurin," the winery said in a news release. Also performing will be Cindy Arena, of Rochester.

She was named the Funniest Person in Rochester in 2018, and was a semifinalist in a similar competition in Buffalo the following year. Hosting the show will be Mike Peters, of Binghamton, the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. A contributor to Funny or Die, he has opened for Gilbert Gottfried and Erik Stolhanske of Broken Lizard.

The winery is located at 658 Lake Road in King Ferry. The kitchen will be open and wine and beer will be available for purchase. For more information, visit treleavenwines.
