DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham's tallest rooftop restaurant is now open for business with views of the downtown skyline.

Just below sits the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, where customers can see the games from above, making the view even better. He's one of the first customers. "You get to see all different points of Durham that you visit, but you don't really visualize when you’re in downtown or different parts of it," Stoehr said. The official grand opening took place Wednesday.

Located on the 11th floor, customers have a 180-degree view with a look at the Durham Bulls ballpark. Owner Joel Ibarra said patrons have the opportunity to watch the team play, possibly catching a firework show. "When I first heard there was a rooftop available, I was excited, but it was nothing compared to after I saw it," Ibarra said.

"It was just truly inspiring."Now the tallest rooftop restaurant in the city, The Lenny is serving up brasserie-style dishes that include burgers and world traditions. "You have to come to see it and feel it," Ibarra said.

"It is amazing as far as the energy."With a bar inside that has plenty of wine and cocktail options, customers say they’ll be coming back. "You can kind of come over whenever and be able to kind of experience this view," Stoehr said.
