Island Passage, Isina Resources advance EL02 Exploration with new vehicles

Island Passage Exploration Company and Isina Resources Holdings Limited (IRHL) have strengthened their exploration efforts at EL02 with the addition of two new vehicles. The vehicles will enhance logistical operations, crucial for staff and material transport during the ongoing gold and copper exploration. One vehicle was gifted by Island Passage to Isina Resources in recognition of the support provided by the customary landowners and communities of Kongara I & II, South Nasioi, and North Kokoda.

This support was instrumental in the recent renewal of the five-year exploration license, presented to Isina Resources in Arawa by President Ishmael Toroama. Aloysius Sinka V., Chairman of Isina Resources, along with CEO Glyne Tovirika and Director Simeon Wina, received the vehicle keys.



The partnership between Island Passage and Isina Resources is advancing a state-of-the-art exploration program at EL02, the first mining license issued under the Bougainville Mining Act (2015). Notably, EL02 is believed to be the world’s first license granted to a customary landowner company with 100% mineral ownership..
