This incorporation of AI capabilities within system applications is designed to improve the overall user experience. For instance, iOS 18 presents innovative methods for composing text, creating images, and engaging with Siri. The implementation of AI models enables users to edit, proofread, and condense text within applications such as Mail and Notes.

Additionally, there is an application named Image Playground that can produce images from straightforward text prompts. The incorporation of Apple Intelligence has enhanced Siri's capabilities, making it more intelligent and contextually aware. It is now able to execute tasks such as basic photo editing and file management for the user.

Although Apple emphasizes on-device processing to safeguard user privacy, more intricate processing tasks are managed by ChatGPT. While similar functionalities have been observed in Google’s Pixel and Samsung’s Galaxy flagship devices, which utilize Google AI, Apple’s approach intensifies the competition, ultimately benefiting future advancements.
