Ironton Dairy Queen to break ground on Friday

Opening set for OctoberDairy Queen has announced that a groundbreaking ceremony for a brand-new Ironton restaurant will be held on Friday.The public invited to the event, which will take place at the site, at 214 S. 8th St.

, at noon.The event will feature remarks from city officials, project leaders and franchise representatives, along with a ceremonial “first dig” to officially kick off construction. “This new Dairy Queen location represents more than just great food and treats, it’s about bringing people together, creating jobs and investing in my hometown of Ironton,” said Corby Leach, owner of the Corby Leach Company.
