A user on X, formerly known as Twitter, has reported that his iQOO smartphone exploded right after charging due to overheating. He revealed that the said iQOO Neo 7 Pro model is under warranty for 2 more months. He explained that the smartphone had recently received a software update and while charging, the handset started heating up rapidly.
When the user noticed the heat, he removed it from charging and kept it on a table. Just after 5 minutes of putting it on the table, the handset exploded. The user has even shared images of the exploded and damaged device.

At last, the user revealed that the company has agreed to replace his handset with a new one and he will post new pictures once he has got his hands on the new device. One of the users also wrote that he is also facing similar heating issue with his iQOO Z9 model.
