IPL 2025 Retention: The IPL 2025 retentions got over on Thursday after all the 10 franchises revealed their retention list as the mega auction is just around the corner. There were lots of surprise exclusions in these lists and the three-star players who were released from their franchises are Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and Arshdeep Singh. These three players would be entering the mega auction and besides these, there are other big players as well who would be entering this auction, where some might fetch a bigger amount than the others.

He has been a brilliant skipper in this tournament and all the franchises would be willing to pay a huge amount to buy him at the auction. 3. Rishabh Pant One of the biggest surprises at this retention was the Delhi Capitals releasing their skipper Rishabh Pant.
Pant has been loyal to this franchise ever since he made his debut in this tournament and has done brilliantly well in all these years. But there were speculations that he had a fallout with the owners and due to this he entered his name at the auction. And now that Pant would be there at the auction, teams would like to spend more than Rs 20 crores for him.
