Kuo did not specify whether the forthcoming Vision Pro will incorporate any additional features or modifications compared to the current version that was released earlier this year.
In addition, Kuo noted that the production of a more affordable variant of the Vision Pro has been postponed until "beyond 2027." The current Vision Pro is priced at $3,499 in the United States, a cost that has undoubtedly restricted its market reach. Apple CEO Tim Cook remarked in a recent interview, "At $3,500, it's not a mass-market product.

" Bloomberg's Mark Gurman also discussed Apple's future strategies for its Vision product line in his latest Power On newsletter. Similar to Kuo, Gurman indicated that Apple is planning a "chip upgrade" for the Vision Pro, although he did not confirm if this will occur in 2025. He also mentioned that Apple is actively working on a more affordable version of the Vision Pro headset, which will feature "scaled-down technologies," but he did not provide a timeline for its release.
Furthermore, Gurman stated that Apple is "seriously considering" a glasses-like device that would connect to the iPhone. "I also continue to hear that Apple is seriously considering a device that offloads the computing components to an iPhone and serves as an accessory for watching movies," he explained.
