The iPhone 17 Air is Apple’s upcoming ultra-thin smartphone, and its design just been revealed. This information comes from FPT (Front Page Tech), the same source that revealed the iPhone 17 Pro’s camera bar recently. The iPhone 17 Air’s design has just been revealedThe Apple iPhone 17 Air will look considerably different than the ‘Pro’ model, at least from the back.

As you can see in the images provided below, which were revealed in FPT’s latest YouTube video. Those images were created in partnership with @zellzoi. The phone will feature a camera bar at the very top of its back side.

That camera bar will have a pill-shaped design, and it will protrude quite a bit. A single camera will be included, in the top-left corner. A microphone and an LED flash will sit on the opposite side of the camera bar.

The phone’s front, back, and sides will be flat, while its corners will be considerably curved, as we’re used to seeing from iPhones. You can also see the power/lock button here, as well as the phone’s Camera Control key.Yes, the Action Button will likely be a part of the picture too, and the volume up and down buttons will sit on the left-hand side.

Apple’s logo will be placed in the middle of the phone’s back, while a Dynamic Island will sit on the front. This phone is expected to measure only 5.5mm at its thinnest pointThe Apple iPhone 17 Air will measure only 5.

5mm at its thinnest point, it has been reported. The device is expected to arrive later this year. Just to be clear, Jon Prosser, the guy behind FPT, is usually quite accurate with such info, so we have no reason to doubt the design he shared.

This smartphone will likely launch alongside other iPhone 17 units. In other words, it’s coming alongside the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, if those end up being their names, of course. This phone was long-time rumored to replace the ‘Plus’ iPhone model, so Apple will once again have four phones as part of the main iPhone series, but without the ‘Plus’ iPhone.
