The iOS 19 update is likely to get some major design changes and the UI will have a refreshing look, as per reports, and it will work on a wide range of iPhone models later this year. However, as trends go, Apple will have to cut loose some of the older iPhones from its support list this year, and it seems the company will have bad news for quite a few people when that happens. iOS 19 Update Coming In 2025: Which iPhones Will Support It? The good news is that the iOS 19 update will work on most of the recent iPhone models.

The new update comes via a reliable tipster this week, who claims Apple will not bring the iOS 19 version to the following iPhones this year: iPhone XS iPhone XS Max iPhone XR Going by the OS cycle from the company, and its decision last year to cull iPhone X from the support list, it feels like a logical move to remove the next few models in the series. All these iPhones come with the A12 Bionic chipset which means even the iPad models with the same hardware could lose support for the iPadOS 19 version this year.
Interestingly, the iPhone SE 2022 model will live to see another day, especially if you use one, as the iOS 19 version will be compatible with this variant, along with iPhone 11 and later models launched in the last 7 to 8 years.
