iPhone users are waiting for the big Siri upgrade which Apple is not likely to bring before 2026 but the new beta version has some good news. iOS 18.4 version has now reached the beta 2 stage this week, which means we are one step closer to the official release, expected in April.
The iOS 18.4 beta updates have shown some changes and improvements along with additions for iPhone users but we are yet to fully see the Apple AI promise materialise. And the recent news suggests Apple is going to take even longer before we see the Siri AI version on public devices.

iOS 18.4 Beta 2 Update: What iPhone Users Get The biggest change with the iOS 18.4 beta 2 version is for the iPhone 15 Pro users.
Yes, the older Pro model does get Apple AI features, and the new beta version gives them a chance to try out the Visual Intelligence tools via their iPhone’s camera. The new beta 2 update is equally heavy at over 7.5GB but the content is mostly limited to a few tweaks and improvements over the first version that came out a week back.
Coming back to the new AI update, since the iPhone 15 Pro models don’t have the camera control button like the new 16 series, Apple is allowing these users to activate the VI tools using the action button that is on the left side above the volume controls. Apple’s VI works like Google Lens on iPhones using the camera to identify objects in the viewfinder or guide to nearby restaurants. This is primarily the big change you get with the iOS 18.
