Apple has released the iOS 17.7.1 update for users who have not yet transitioned to iOS 18, the company's most recent operating system.

This issue, categorized as information disclosure, has been mitigated through enhanced private data redaction in log entries. Additionally, CVE-2024-44269 presented a risk whereby a malicious application could exploit shortcuts to access restricted files due to a logical flaw. An information disclosure issue was also identified in Siri, which could enable a sandboxed application to retrieve sensitive user data from system logs.

In WebKit, the processing of maliciously crafted web content could have hindered the enforcement of the Content Security Policy. The update addresses all of these vulnerabilities. Apple's iOS 17.
