Invite for residents to find out more about town council

The informal meeting will be held at Dorchester Corn Exchange, DT1 1HF, on Friday, May 9 from 11am to 1pm. This is a free drop-in event at which everyone is welcome. People will be able to meet councillors and some of the partners the authority has worked with over the last year.

There will also be the chance to talk and comment on the council's 2025-29 Corporate Plan. A town council spokesperson said: "Join us on the 9th May at our informal Annual Town Meeting to find out more about the work of the council over the last year, meet your elected councillors, and also find out more about our wonderful community sector. "There will be an opportunity to comment on our draft Corporate Plan - and we will be serving free refreshments (including delicious home-made cake!)".
