Investigation after car crashes into takeaway in town centre

A Radcliffe takeaway is in a sorry state after a car crashed into a site in the town centre. Police said the incident was at Pronto Pizza at around 10pm on Sunday (September 8). The pizza takeaway is in a sorry state after the car crashed into the site on Church Street West but there were no injuries.

Police said the investigation is already underway but there are no arrests at this time. A spokesperson said: "At around 10pm on Sunday (September 8), officers attended a road traffic collision after a vehicle collided with a building on Church Street West. "Thankfully no injuries were reported.



The vehicle was recovered. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing." Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or the LiveChat on gmp.
