- The International Nomad Festival was held in Antalya (Turkey) on September 13-15. The fstival has gathered representatives of nomadic nations since 2022. The event was attended by Turkic peoples from 20 countries, including Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tatarstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and others, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
With the assistance of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Antalya, a delegation from Kyrgyzstan led by Mayor of Cholpon-Ata Daniyar Satarov took part in the festival. As part of efforts to strengthen cultural and business relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, a protocol on establishing sister city relations between the cities of Cholpon-Ata and Antalya was signed. The festival featured Kyrgyz yurts, national costumes, as well as a performance by Kyrgyz artists.
