LAHORE - The Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament for the Lahore region is set to begin on April 25 in Lahore. Teams from the East, North, and West Zones, with two teams each, will compete in this thrilling event. The tournament will run from April 25 to May 3, held at various cricket grounds in Lahore, where a total of 15 matches will take place.
Each team will play five league matches, and the team with the most victories will be crowned the tournament champions. LRCA President Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed has called for the second selection committee meeting on April 12, where final teams for all three zones will be announced. Additionally, appeals from under-19 over-age players will also be addressed during this session.
Kh Nadeem has instructed the zonal presidents to organise a week-long specialized training camp. He has also assigned special responsibilities to the coaching and support staff at the LRCA Junior Academy to assist the zonal team coaches during the camp.
