Fresh details have this week been revealed about the firm’s upcoming site at Worswick Chambers, Pilgrim Street, earmarked to open next year. Located just yards from the home of the original STACK, work is well underway to bring the Grade II listed building back to life, having been covered with scaffolding and netting for more than 20 years. Once open, the venue will be home to a total of nine street food units and nine bars, ranging from cocktail bars to rum and beer bars, all with their own distinctive look and feel.

STACK has now revealed that the third floor will be home to the firm’s socialising brand Sideshow, which made its debut at STACK Lincoln in November. This area on the third floor of the original building will feature interactive darts, shuffleboard, beer pong, and karaoke with a vintage carnival aesthetic.

Inside STACK (Image: Sarah Caldecott) CEO Neill Winch said: “This venue represents everything that STACK stands for – a unique blend of live entertainment, high-quality food and drink, and a real sense of community.

“Worswick Chambers is such an iconic location, and this project will breathe new life into the heart of the city.” Gemma Dishman, Project Development Director for STACK, added: “STACK Newcastle will be a destination like no other.
