Border Police investigators and rangers from Israel's Nature and Parks Authority uncovered a crocodile, an anaconda snake and venomous frogs held illegally in an agricultural community in central Israel. They also found different types of exotic lizards that are not indigenous to Israel, and a turtle egg likely found in the wild nearby. "This is a serious offense that includes danger to human life, the risk of flight and harm to local nature," the Nature and Parks Authority said in a statement.

"There is also harm to the well-being of wild animals.
