A Brighton based businessman has taken gaming to the next level with his venture. During lockdown, Connor Freeman transformed a simple van into a cutting-edge mobile gaming hub, and years later, his innovative business continues to thrive. Non Stop Gaming was the first of its kind in Sussex - providing a different kind of entertainment for kids parties, stag and hen dos, and even weddings and corporate events.
To set up an event, all that's required is an available power source to bring the supervised gaming van to people's doorsteps or workplaces. The business attracts bookings from keen gamers looking for an alternative to more conventional parties. Non Stop Gaming was born in lockdown.
(Image: Non Stop Gaming) Connor said: "I started the business because I saw one in Ireland and I loved it, I was moving to the area and realised that there was not anyone doing it here, so I built the first one during lockdown. "I then started trading straight after the lockdown. "The best thing about this business how much the kids love it, how sociable it all is with the kids playing their favourite games together, all in one place.
"They really do love it, we haven't done a bad party yet. The vans are complete with state of the art gaming equipment. (Image: Non Stop Gaming) "They really love the Virtual Reality.
" Inside the Non Stop Gaming Van, there are HD TVs and monitors, comfortable seating, high-quality gaming consoles, and a variety of popular games for all ages and skill levels. Players can use the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Oculus VR, with state of the art steering wheels, foot pedals and VR headsets. The experience can be tailored to all ages and abilities.
The van is kitted out with high tech. (Image: Non Stop Gaming) The VR headsets set the business apart, as they provide an immersive gaming experience where players feel like they are inside the game environment. While the appeal largely is down to the fact that the van is kitted out with the latest tech, it also makes for a very convenient party.
The mobile nature of the business means that it can cater to a variety of locations so long as there is a parking space..
